About Me

Hello there dear reader! How bored must you be to be reading about me? I’m a twenty-something substitute teacher in sunny CA. If I’m not reading on my computer, tablet or phone, I usually have a book in hand ( or all…yes I really am that bad.

I have my degree in Creative Writing which I hope to use to become an editor/publisher. In the mean time I’ll continue to read, write and promote.

Interests: reading, music, swimming, movies, my dogs, spending time with my friends and family, riding my bike, making a fool of myself playing Just Dance on the Wii, all things pumpkin, coffee, tea, Doctor Who and nerdy

Favorite Movies: Pride and Prejudice, Disney movies, A Lot Like Love, Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes, Ever After

Favorite Music: I listen to everything except Rap and some Heavy metal. Imagine Dragons, Bastille, P!nk, FUN, linkin park, matchbox 20, rascal flatts, Mumford and sons, twenty-one pilots, and so many more!

Favorite Books: Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey, Hunger Games Trilogy, Jane Eyre, The Count of Monte Cristo

Question for you…If your Life could be any type of genre of book or movie, what would it be and why?

  1. I found your blog via PimpBooks. You seem to have read Neil Gaiman pretty thoroughly. Has he ever written short stories, do you know? Best of luck with your studies and keep up the lovely, thoughtful work here!

    • Hi Fiona!

I don’t think there’s a part of literature Gaiman hasn’t touched. If you go to this site, there are some of his short stories
( http://www.neilgaiman.com/p/Cool_Stuff/Short_Stories ) I think there are a few more out there but this is a good start, if you’re loooking for something a little…more, I would try his graphic novel The Sandman. It’s in volumes so it’s more like serials than a series or actual novels, and despite the picture format I think you can get a great deal from it.

I hope that helped and was what you were looking for!!
