Review: Remy (Real #3) by Katy Evans

Remy (Real, #3)Remy by Katy Evans
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I can only say I am disappointed. Not in Remy, but in Katy Evans.

By giving us this book, giving us his POV we are supposed to have a deeper access to Remmington, to his mind and, usually, to a new or different story than what we previously knew.

What we got? A copy-and-paste type narrative from her previous books with the occasional thought from Remy and change in perspective than previously. We were handed the same dialogue, details, storyline…I wante to scream in frustration.

Present: Remy and Brooke before they get ready for their second wedding.

Flashback to when he first saw her and pursued her in Real.

Present: Remy waiting for Brooke at their apartment.

Flashback to Real.

Present: Remy being forced to go to the church. Remy in a car.

Flashback to Real.

Present: Remy waiting in the car in traffic.

Flashback to Real.

Present: Remy at the church.

Flashback to Mine

Present: Remy freaking out while still waiting.

Flashback to Mine.

Present: Remy and Brooke get married a second time and have a night without their son.

There you go. The entirety of the book in a few lines. Most of which was either repetition of what we’ve already seen, or just a clip of Remy in the present waiting and freaking out. Big thriller here!!

Not a recommended read. Not even for Remy.
